Homeless Bags

Posted by Portrait| Los Angeles Skid Row (Los Angeles, United States) on 7 August 2007 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

Which on of you can judge a man that does not even have a face in his own land?

Was there a clear plan to reduce such a man?

His daily trek confused with two plastic bags, strong and weary; day after day two plastic bags, no name, no face and no glory, and little cultural grace extended towards his path.

His woes are strong and mighty, and his joy reduced to finding cool quiet rest.

Shelter from the cultural storm, down the nickel of skid row his image is seen as regular.

The burdens of life are strong and mighty...they can even break the will of a strong man.

When cluture strips away a man's pride, it also cuts off his head. America does not want to see the pain, and the struggle to find a safe bed.
